Mark Peiffer, RPO
Operations Manager

Mark is a young nonprofit professional who helps local farmers and food-insecure Appalachian families. He moved to West Virginia over a decade ago, fell in love with the people and mountains, and has called it home ever since. He believes that each community has the ability to feed itself and build its own wealth but must make a choice to invest in local businesses and farms. Mark envisions communities throughout West Virginia that grow enough food to feed each family, especially food insecure families, and have excess food to export to nearby communities. Mark received his Associates Degree in Business Administration from Blue Ridge Community and Technical College in Martinsburg, WV and serves on the executive board of West Virginia Promise Youth Alliance. He holds a lifetime Registered Product Owner certification through Scrum Inc. and is certified in QuickBooks Online and Bookkeeping. He is also Grant Professional Association member. Mark lives in Jefferson County, West Virginia with his wife and two children with another on the way.
